Robert was born and raised in NYC. Following high school, Robert enlisted in the US Navy. After being honorably discharged, Robert went into ship building in San Diego, California.
After his stint building ships, Robert moved back to NY. He soon started
in Building/Facility Management for the NYC government and continued for the next 18 years. At this time, he also joined the NY Air National Guard.
On 9/11, his Air National Guard unit was activated following the attack and sent to Ground Zero.
Robert attended part time college in the evening and eventually received his Associate of Applied Science degree (AAS) and continued his schooling.
Robert relocated to Dallas, Texas and recruited for a project manager job commissioning Terminal D of DFW Airport. Upon completion of Terminal D, he moved to Johnson Controls as a Capital Project Manager. This job entailed managing capital projects for over 1,100 JC Penney Stores.
In 2009, Robert decided to build his own company from the ground up; Ecotech Roofing and Construction LLC was born and the rest is history.
